Welcome to 17mm — a home for my photography, with a focus on street work and the quiet details of everyday life.

After years with Canon SLR cameras, I moved to Micro Four Thirds for a smaller kit I could always carry. An Olympus PEN and a 17mm f/1.8 prime lens became the heart of that setup — and the name of this site.

Most of what you see here is street photography, often in black and white. The Nature section collects walks outdoors: leaves, frost, light, and small landscapes.

I shoot primarily with Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras and prime lenses. Thanks for looking.
